Zach joined North Highlands Recreation and Parks to expand access to aquatics, trails, and environmental learning opportunities for all residents. Currently, Zach works as a self-employed consultant, assisting non-profits and other organizations in building their capacity to achieve strategic goals. Previously, Zach served as Chief of Staff to a Sacramento City Councilmember and is also an active member of the Sacramento Community Emergency Response Team. In his spare time, he enjoys exploring state and national parks, paddling local waterways, attending baseball games, and cooking with family and friends
