North Highlands Recreation & Park District has secured funding through American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) to build a new playground at Planehaven Park! Staff took the results of the surveys to multiple design firms and the top 3 firms were presented to our Board of Directors at the July Board Meeting. After discussion, it was decided that Miracle Playsystems would be the selected design firm.

Miracle Playsystems will present at our August 8 Board Meeting to finalize color, design, and amenities.

Estimated completion of the new playground is set to be late Fall.
