Highlander Dolphin Crab Feed

The Highlander Dolphin Swim Team will be hosting their 18th annual Crab Feed at North Highlands Recreation and Park District's Kay F. Dahill Community Center. All of the proceeds from the event help provide new equipment, software and other valuable resources for the team. There will be a raffle, prizes, and music. Tickets can be purchased online. Breakfast with the Bunny

Does the Easter Bunny eat carrots for breakfast? Come find out by enjoying a delicious breakfast served up by the North Highlands Optimist Club with a special guest, the Easter Bunny! Participants will enjoy a full breakfast of pancakes, sausage, and juice as well as a photo with the Easter Bunny. After filling up, follow the Bunny over to Freedom Park for the Spring Fling and Community Egg Hunt.

Tickets can be purchased at the NHRPD Office (Monday-Friday 8am-5pm)

Spring Fling & Community Egg Hunt

Participate in one of the largest FREE community egg hunts in the area for children 12 and under! Stay around after for a family friendly event with entertainment, crafts, a giant slide and a special delivery of the eggs. All attendees will have an opportunity to hunt for one of the three golden eggs, redeemable for a prize, hidden throughout the park.

Egg Hunt: Look for the NHRPD information booth on the day of the event to sign-up for the egg hunt
Ages 1-4: 10:00am (children will be split into groups of 10-15. Each small group will be scheduled to hunt every 10 minutes.)
Ages 5-8: 11:00am
Ages 9-12: 11:15am


Spring Community Yard Sale

It’s time to do some fall cleaning! NHRPD is having its fourth annual Community Yard Sale, where you can clean out your garage, attic, and closet and make some extra money. Admission is free for the public, and the cost is $20 for a vendor space. Vendor applications can be found online at www.nhrpd.org.

Movie In The Park

Sit back and relax an oldie but a goodie with the movie, “Selena”. Other activities will include the summer opening of our Splash Pad and family friendly activities.
