Pee Wee Flag Football

(Ages 4-7)

In this six week program, Pee Wee athletes will learn the basic fundamentals and rules of football. Each week, staff will lead 90-minute training sessions with participant; going through throwing, catching, and defensive drills where they’ll learn key athletic movements crucial to the game of football. In addition to learning important components of the game, participants will learn good sportsmanship and teamwork. The final training session of the program, participants will participate in the “Pee Wee Bowl” to showcase all of their skill. Fee includes a NHRPD Pee Wee Flag Football t-shirt.

Dates: Saturdays (September 15 - October 20)

Winter Youth Basketball

(2nd-3rd Grade)

NHRPD Youth BasketballThis lightly competitive league gives players an opportunity to learn the rules of basketball and develop basic skills like passing, dribbling, and shooting. Games and practices are played on lower hoops to give players a chance to focus on technique. Each week, coaches lead 90-minute practices in preparation for their Saturday games. In addition to developing key fundamentals of the game, coaches focus on teaching the importance of teamwork and good sportsmanship. Fee includes a reversible NHRPD Youth Basketball jersey.

Practices: Begin the Week of January 14
Games: Saturdays (January 26 through March 9)
Grade Level: 2nd-3rd grade

Winter Youth Basketball

(Grades 4-6)

NHRPD Youth BasketballThis league is perfect for athletes of all skill level and gives participants an introduction to the game of basketball! Players are randomly assigned to teams and practice once a week for a 90-minute in preparation for their games on Saturdays. Coaches lead drills that introduce new techniques, play development, and basic fundamentals. Players are taught the importance of teamwork and good sportsmanship. Fee includes a reversible NHRPD Youth Basketball jersey.

Grade Level: 4th-6th grade

Winter Youth Basketball

(7th-8th Grade)

NHRPD Youth BasketballThis league is lightly competitive and great for basketball players of all skill level. Participants are randomly assigned to teams. Players begin to develop a more elevated skill level and work on improving their overall knowledge of the game. To prepare players for their Saturday games, coaches focus on running more in-depth drills during the team’s weekly, 90-minute practice. Drills that focus on footwork, passing, ball-handling, and play execution. Coaches also teach the importance of teamwork and good sportsmanship. Fee includes a reversible NHRPD Youth Basketball jersey.

NHRPD Youth BasketballPee Wee Basketball provides youth and opportunity to learn the fundamentals of the game in a non-competitive, positive environment. Staff work with participants in six, 90-minute training sessions held on Saturdays. Regardless of ability, talent, or skill level, athletes will learn the basics of passing, shooting, and dribbling, as well as the importance of teamwork and good sportsmanship.
