PARKS RE-OPEN FOR PUBLIC USE UNDER THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS
To the extent we safely can, we are pleased to keep this facility open as a place for essential outdoor exercise for local residents during these challenging times subject to the following protocols:
Parks are open during regular posted park hours.
Playgrounds and Restrooms remain closed. Playgrounds and other recreation amenities are NOT being disinfected.
Barbeque Areas, Group Picnic Sites and Freedom Park Splash Pad are closed. Please do not congregate in these areas.
Parking Lots at Freedom Park and Brock Park are closed. Parking lots at other NHRPD parks remain open at this time, but only during regular posted park hours. Park parking lots are subject for immediate closure if necessary.

This ORDER supersedes the April 7, 2020, Order of the Health Officer (Stay at Home Order). Where a conflict exists between this Order and any state public health order related to COVID-19 pandemic, the most restrictive provision controls. COVID-19 CORONAVIRUS UPDATE
DISTRICT SPONSORED PROGRAMS, SENIOR ACTIVITIES, FACILITY RENTALS, SPECIAL EVENTS AND OTHER DISTRICT RELATED RECREATION ACTIVITIES ARE STILL CANCELED THROUGH MAY 31, 2020
The following information is for the North Highlands community, program participants, facility users and others who utilize North Highlands Recreation and Park District parks, and facilities and services.
In coordination with local and state government officials regarding COVID-19 Coronavirus, the North Highlands Recreation and Park District has cancelled or suspended ALL District sponsored classes, programs, special events, sports programs, senior activities, etc. through May 31, 2020. Refunds will be issued.
Twin Rivers Unified School District and NHRPD co-sponsored programs have been cancelled until schools reopens next school year. The TRUSD Expanded Learning Program staff will continue to create educational content for social media and virtual recreation through the end of the regular school year.
