Harvest Time

Join us Thursday mornings at the Harvest Time Club, a warm and welcoming place for conversation, laughter and interesting activities that inform and contribute to a sense of well-being. Stay in touch with local news and events, enjoy interesting speakers, fun and informative field trips, month Bingo games, holiday celebrations, regular sing-a-longs, art and craft projects and just plain socializing. We also enjoy a moderately priced lunch together.

Senior Bingo

Days: Tuesdays
Times: 9:00am – 11:30am
Location: Recreation Center, 6040 Watt Ave
Fee: Five cents per card


Join this fun bunch for an enjoyable afternoon of cards and table games. The game of the day is normally pinochle, rummikub, or bridge. Introduction of new games is always welcome

AARP Driver Safety

AARP Driver SafetyAARP and NHRPD are proud to offer this classroom refresher for motorists age 50 and older. Pre-registration is required, space is limited! H&R Block FREE Tax Seminar

Join us for a free senior tax seminar sponsored by H&R Block. Local qualified professionals will help you with your questions for your 2016 tax returns.

Senior Movie Day

Join us for a Senior Movie Day! This is a great opportunity for seniors to interact with each other and have a great time out. Entry fee is only $1, and light refreshments will be provided.

Breakfast with the Bunny

Hop on over to the North Highlands Recreation Center for Breakfast with the Easter Bunny on April 15th. Hosted by the North Highlands Optimist Club, paticipants will enjoy hotcakes, sausage and juice. Pictures with the Easter Bunny will also be included. After breakfast, hop on over to Freedom Park for the Egg Hunt
