Make this summer exciting and memorable for your child by signing them up for our Summer Kids Camp! They will have blast making new friends, going on field trips, playing sports, going to Freedom Park, enjoying water games, doing arts & crafts and so much more! Our experienced and well trained staff are ready to have fun and provide your child with a structured, safe and positive environment for your child during the summer. Campers will need to bring a lunch, bottled water, and two snacks daily. On Fridays, a BBQ lunch is provided, so no lunch is required!

Days: Monday through Friday

# Session 5 meets Monday and Wednesday thru Friday due to July 4th holiday

Time: Normal Schedule: 8:00am – 5:00pmSummer Camp

Extended Schedule: 7:00am – 6:00pm

Participation Fee:

Per Week Normal Schedule: $125.00

Per Week Extended Schedule: $153.00

Per Day Fee (normal schedule) $27.50

Per Day Fee (extended schedule) $33.00

Field trips and Special Events: Field trips and Special Events will be held on Thursdays unless otherwise stated in the weekly schedule. Transportation will be by chartered bus, district transport or walking. Field trips & Special events are subject to change. Alternative arrangements will not be provided for campers who choose not to participate. Weekly fee includes cost of fieldtrips. Those children attending on a daily basis are subject to additional fees for field trips.

Ages: Incoming K – outgoing 6th grade

Location: North Highlands Community Center - 6040 Watt Avenue

Register: Register up to one week before session start date online at www.nhrpd.org or at the NHRPD office located at: 6040 Watt Avenue. Registration is limited to 35 participants. Waivers must be signed and submitted with payment.

Items needed: Closed toed shoes, clothes suitable for getting messy, lunch with drink Mon-Thurs, 2 snacks daily, and sunscreen on pool days.

Join the Bradshaw Animal Assistance Team this Sunday, November 13, 2016 from 10am - 1pm for a free clinic vaccine & mircochipping event at Freedom Park. Available to Sac County Residents only. Other free services available as well as low cost spay & neuter vouchers. See flyer for more information.

Holiday Tree Lighting Celebration

Celebrate the Holidays with NHRPD! Our annual Holiday Tree Lighting Celebration kicks off the holiday season. Join us, December 9, 2016, for a formal tree lighting in front of the Community Center, then head inside for an evening filled with games, activities, visits from Santa Claus and characters from popular Holiday movies, and other festivities that’s sure to get you in the holiday spirit.
